Dear Wildcat Nation,

I wanted to reach out to you to share some important information about our “No Tax Rate Increase Bond” proposal that is on the Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 election ballot. To put this in a more concrete way, this extension bond will not increase your mortgage payment. This bond is an extension of our current bonds (high school and elementary), and will generate $61,345,000 dollars over the next 10 years. This bond will allow us to construct new additions onto the middle school and high school. Remodel, improve sites, construct more secure entrances, add new classroom furniture, equipment, and technology for students and staff at all of our school buildings. We will be able to update our heating/cooling systems to make those systems more energy efficient.

Here is the % breakdown of how the bond money will be spent:

• Middle School – 30% of the bond.
• High School – 23% of the bond.
• All (4) Elementary Schools – 21% of the bond.
• Relocation of Transportation Center – 9% of the bond.
• Upgrades & renovations at Armstrong Community Stadium Complex - 14% of the bond.
• Upgrades & expansion at the District Operations/Grounds/Facility Storage complex – 3% of the bond.
