Dear TRCS Parents:

At approximately 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, a smoke detector activated the Fire Alarm System at Barrows School.  Three Rivers Community Schools students and staff were evacuated from the building.

The Three Rivers Fire Department and Police Department responded along with Three Rivers Community Schools Maintenance staff.

The smoke detector was activated by drywall dust from repair work being completed nearby.  After the Fire Department verified the safety of the facility, the fire safety system was put back into service and students and staff returned to the building.
