Welcome to Norton Elementary!
We aim to build our students in academics and good character! Each week our fantastic special teachers lead Family Time while our grade level teachers are able to meet in teams to review data from our Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) which we call WIN (What I Need) Time. Additionally, we have monthly celebrations where we award ALL students to join in fun times planned by our talented staff. We recognize our Wildcats of the Month who have displayed exemplary behavior and leadership. It's a time to come together as one big learning community to enjoy and celebrate our successes!
Norton Elementary is located in Three Rivers, Michigan and is one of four elementary buildings in Three Rivers Community Schools. It is part of a rural community in southwestern Michigan and lies midway between Detroit and Chicago.
Norton is home to over 200 students in Kindergarten through Fifth grade, who come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Over the past few months, we have down-sized to one class per grade level K-3, while still maintaining 2 sections of 4th and 5th.
Throughout the school year we will host many special school and N.W.C (Norton Wildcat Community - formerly known as PTO) functions and activities. Keep your eye on the monthly calendar and emails from the district. We look forward to growing our learning community together. As always, the success of our school depends upon everyone working together to make each child’s experience and education here the very best that is can be. Remember, we are always going to be better TOGETHER.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to educate your child(ren). We pride ourselves with the ability to provide research based, data driven instruction in all of our classrooms. If you have any questions, celebrations and/or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out at any point during the school year.
Let's Go Wildcats!
