Andrews has a tradition of providing students with an outstanding education and each school year just gets better and better. Students who have been at Andrews in the past came back remembering and following the building’s expectations on day 1. We are so proud of them! And, of course, we are thrilled to have many new faces among us. A special welcome goes out to all of our new students and their families!

Hello Wildcat Families:

The start of a new school year is quickly approaching and I am excited to see the buildings filled with our students and staff again.  I hope everyone is making the most of the last days of summer before the first day of school on August 22nd.  For students, families, and staff members, the start of a new academic year is always a chance for a fresh beginning and exciting opportunities for growth.

Remember, education is a powerful tool that can unlock endless possibilities and lead to a brighter future. The importance of a partnership between school and home is crucial in motivating and inspiring our children to reach their fullest potential.

To make this year a positive and successful one, let’s embrace :

  • Creating a safe space where everyone feels valued, respected, and welcomed.

  • Encouraging open communication and collaboration among students, staff, and parents.

  • Encouraging students to set personal and academic goals for the year. Help them understand the importance of aiming high and working diligently to achieve their aspirations.

  • Recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of students and staff throughout the year. Positive reinforcement boosts confidence and motivates everyone to keep striving for excellence.

  • Ensuring that students have access to the necessary resources and support they need to succeed academically and personally. Offer tutoring, counseling, or other assistance when required.

  • As partners for our children, we have a significant impact on student’s lives. Lead by example, demonstrating dedication, enthusiasm, and a passion for learning.

  • Encouraging students to embrace challenges and view failures as opportunities for learning and growth. Teach them that hard work and perseverance can lead to success.

  • Embracing change and being willing to adapt to new ideas and approaches to education.

  • Emphasizing the importance of continuous learning.

While the new school year brings some changes to TRCS, with a positive attitude and a collective effort, together we can make this school year a memorable and fulfilling one for everyone involved. Best of luck for an amazing year ahead!

Yours in Education,

Nikki Nash
