Dear Three Rivers Community Schools Parents & Families,
I am saddened to share with you that early this morning, Cheyenne Bixler, a sophomore at Three Rivers
High School, along with her mother Michelle Bixler died tragically in a house fire. As a school
community we share our sadness at the loss of these two individuals, and offer comfort to the family
during this difficult time. Cheyenne was a wonderful young lady who was well liked by her teachers and
classmates.

Our TRHS Crisis team members, staff, and district staff have been available all day at the high school for
any student and staff member who needed time to grieve and process through this tragedy. Please keep
the Bixler family, TRHS students, staff and district staff in your prayers and thoughts as we all work
through this difficult time.
