COVID-19 Positive Case Reported at Three Rivers High School
Dear TRCS Parent Guardian:
On November 13, 2020, we were notified of a positive case of COVID-19 associated with a student at Three Rivers High School. In compliance with current MDHHS emergency orders public notice of this school associated case of COVID-19 is posted on our COVID-19 Dashboard located at: https://trschools.org/District/Portal/covid-19-dashboard
Three Rivers High School will remain OPEN at this time. We are working closely with the Branch-Hillsdale-St.Joseph Community Health Agency to identify close contacts of the school associated cases) of COVID-19. Anyone identified as a close contact will be notified by Three Rivers Community Schools staff as a part of the COVID-19 investigation process. Due to medical privacy laws, we are not able to release the names of the individuals with COVID-19.
It is our role to tell all families of Three Rivers Community Schools that we are moving forward under the guidance of the Branch-Hillsdale-St.Joseph Community Health Agency and that all measures have been taken to protect the wellbeing of your child(ren). These safety measures include daily health checks, required facial coverings and social distancing, frequent handwashing, and sanitizing, common touch areas and personal work space disinfecting, Daily facility cleaning/disinfecting and contact tracing with Branch-Hillsdale-St.Joseph Community Health Agency.
Please monitor for the onset of symptoms related to COVID-19; including cough, shortness of breath, fever (Temp>100.4 F), chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. If you note any change in the health of your child, please call your regular medical provider.Thank you for your understanding and continuing support in practicing good hygiene and safety protocols relative to COVID-19.
