TRCS 2025-2026 Annual Education Benefits Form

Education Benefits Form – Letter to Households

Three Rivers Community Schools

2025-2026

08/15/2025

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Please take a moment to complete the form online threerivers.familyportal.cloudThe Education Benefits Form collects information needed to ensure the school receives state and federal funding for education programs. Without this information, our school could lose important funding for education programs that our students need. These supplemental grants and programs have the potential to offer supports and services for our students including, but not limited to:

  • Instructional staff (ex. Reading Interventionists, Math Tutors, Academic & Behavior Aids)
  • Teaching supplies and materials
  • Counselors and Social Workers
  • Professional Learning for staff
  • Parent and Community engagement supplies and activities
  • Technology

Why is the school requesting financial information? The Education Benefits Form determines eligibility of a student or household. The total count of eligible students is used to determine the funding amounts that will be made available to a school. The more forms submitted, the better.

What do I need to do? Please complete the form electronically at threerivers.familyportal.cloud.  If you are unable to fill out the form online, please ask your student’s school Secretary for a paper form to fill out – be sure to return it as soon as possible.

What else might my student or household be eligible for? Based on the information you provide on your Education Benefits Form, your child may qualify for other programs such as:

  • Pay to play or Pay to Participate
  • Programs that provide food support
  • Programs that provide field trip support
  • Programs that provide school supplies or assist with school fees
  • Programs that provide holiday support
  • Potential household support for cable and internet

If you have any questions, please contact George Siedis at 269.279.1106

Hello Wildcat Families:

On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you as we prepare to begin the new school year. We are incredibly excited to welcome both new and returning students to our classrooms and are committed to providing a positive, inspiring, and safe learning environment for everyone.

The safety and security of our students and staff remains our top priority. As we embark on a new year of growth and learning, please know that we are continually working to ensure our schools are places where everyone can thrive.

We are also excited to share that we have a new district website platform! You can visit us online at www.trschools.org to find the latest news, events, and resources. We believe this new site will be a valuable tool for staying connected and informed throughout the year.

This year, we continue to focus on our district mission statement: The mission of Three Rivers Community Schools is to educate, motivate, and inspire all students to reach their full potential, to become successful adults and to pursue their dreams. To support this mission, we continue to build upon the key life skills that we believe are essential for success, both inside and outside the classroom. These skills are: effective communicator, self directed-learner, critical thinker, socially responsible citizen, growth mindset, character, creativity, and collaborator/team player.

Kickoff to the new school year begins with Back to School Open Houses held on August 18th.

  • Middle and High School - 4:30-6:00

  • Elementaries - 5:00-6:30

The 2025-2026 school year begins Tuesday, August 19th with a half day for both students and staff. This year’s academic calendar can be found at www.trschools.org

I am truly honored to serve as your Superintendent and look forward to the collective achievements we will accomplish in the days and months ahead. I can't wait to see the remarkable growth and success that await us.  Here is to a great 2025-2026 school year!

Yours in Education,

Nikki Nash

We aim to build our students in academics and good character! Each week our fantastic special teachers lead Family Time while our grade level teachers are able to meet in teams to review data from our Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) which we call WIN (What I Need) Time. Additionally, we have monthly celebrations where we award ALL students to join in fun times planned by our talented staff. We recognize our Wildcats of the Month who have displayed exemplary behavior and leadership. It's a time to come together as one big learning community to enjoy and celebrate our successes!
