  • $3000 scholarship renewable up to four years
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be a graduating high school senior, first-year student in an accredited four-year college, or a student transferring into an accredited four-year college
  • Demonstrated financial need - must have a combined family income of $70,000 or less
  • Record of academic achievement; and demonstrate commitment to public service.

Officer Collin Rose Memorial Foundation Scholarship

(Available for the 23-24 School Year)

  • Honors the memory of fallen Wayne State Police Officer Collin Rose.
  • Must be a US citizen and Michigan resident at least 17 years old or older
  • 2.5 GPA or higher with a good attendance record.
  • Must be pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or post graduate degree. 
  • Must be entering one of the following fields of study, mediation, dispute resolution, criminal justice, law enforcement, firefighting or paramedic services.

  • Student must be a member of the Credit Union.
  • Students must provide a copy of college, university or vocational school acceptance letter or proof of registration.

Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union Scholarships

(Available for the 23-24 School Year)

  • Ten $1,000 scholarships to local 2020 high school graduates.
  • Scholarships will help cover tuition and admission fees to any community college or university within Michigan.
  • Scholarship applicants must be a graduating high school senior, planning to attend college on a full time basis with a minimum of 12 credit hours.
  • Applicants must be a member of KCFCU in good standing..
  • Send KCFCU a copy of your full time enrollment status by August 12th, 2024

American Legion Trades Scholarship

  • Two year $1,000 scholarship.  $1000 awarded for two years.
  • Must be a Michigan resident
  • Must be 17 to 21 years old at the time of application.
  • Applicant must be pursuing a skilled trades career through post-high school trades training/apprenticeship OR through a 2-year college degree in a skilled trade.
  • It is preferred that the applicant be a descendant of a veteran but it is not required.

Sara Scholarship

  • 12 $2000 scholarships,
  • Must be a high school senior girl with the intention of graduating at the end of the year.
  • Must meet entrance requirements and plan on enrolling in a college or university in the United States.
  • Must have an unweighted 3.3 cumulative GPA.
  • Demonstrate financial need. Must be of excellent character and be active in the sport of golf.  Skill in playing golf is not required.  Examples are playing golf as a hobby, part of a team, or working at a golf course etc.  See information in the link below.

  • Must have a high school degree unless you are a high school senior applying/enrolling to university for the 2020-2021 school year. or currently in college.
  • Intend to be enrolled full time in a bachelors, masters, or PhD program for the 2020-2021 school year at an accredited Canadian, or United States university.
  • Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or other closely related technical field
  • Must have a strong academic record
  • Exemplify leadership and demonstrate a passion for improving the representation of underrepresented groups in science and technology
  • Selected students will receive $10,000 US for studying in US schools, and $5,000 CAN for studying in Canadian schools
