Students at Three Rivers High School have the opportunity to dual enroll in college while still a high school student. The purpose of this program is to provide a wider variety of options to high school pupils to ensure that all students continue to be challenged. Students must meet the eligibility requirements and be accepted by the college where they plan to enroll. Entrance exams, Accuplacer, the ALEKS test, Explore, and/or ACT/SAT/M-STEP scores will be taken into consideration for acceptance. The High School is not required to support students who take college classes that are considered activity or hobby related classes. All dual enrollment classes must be academic in nature. Funding for this comes from public school state aid and is based on a formula given to the school by the MDE.
